Flotilla For Toys – 12th Annual

Smith Mountain Lake’s 12th Flotilla for Toys Parade of Lights will be happening on Dec. 5th, 7 p.m.-9 p.m., a fantastic evening affair. This event is a local toy drive with all gifts distributed by the Lake Christian Ministries.

This event will be a parade of boats all dressed up with lights and other holiday displays for your enjoyment. The boats will leave from the Virginia Dare Marina at 7 p.m. and go from there to the Halesford Bridge, circle past Smith Mountain Lake State Park, and return to the Virginia Dare Marina. It is a sight worth seeing as I am sure all past spectators can confirm. Take the kids, they will love it.
