The Smith Mountain Lake movie, “Lake Effects” is getting very close to completion and everyone is anxious to see the finished results. In the meantime, many of us have been privileged to enjoy the company of several popular actors and actresses during the filming at the lake. On May 12th there will be another opportunity to see and hear perhaps the most famous of those playing in “Lake Effects”, Jane Seymour.
The Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau has limited seating for its annual meeting and luncheon on May 12th so if you are interested you should hurry. It is an event many will be willing to pay $45 per ticket to attend as it will be featuring a speech by actress Jane Seymour, best known for her role as Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
The luncheon will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center on May 12, 2011. For more information, contact Heidi Mowry at 342-6025, ext. 116, or hmowry@visitroanokeva.com.
