Who would think a place that changes oil and offers other car care services would win national recognition? But that is exactly what Smith Mountain Lake’s Liquid Lube & Wash has done. This little place of business decided right from the get-go to be unique in the Lube world. They did such a good job that out of dozens of entries across the country, they received the national award for this year’s BEST LOOKING LUBE 2007 from National Oil & Lube News, a contest that judges lube centers throughout North America.
Located in Moneta, Va. The Liquid Lube and Wash (a full-service lube center) was designed to resemble a 1950’s diner. People passing through often stop to take pictures of this unusual-looking business. The project’s designer was The Highlands Group Architects. Both businesses are members of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce.
