For many around Smith Mountain Lake, the local newspaper is the best source of information relevant to their lives. The “Smith Mountain Eagle” is abounding with items of local interest and news of import at the Lake, as well as just plain fun stuff to read.
Recently the Newspaper has had a change of location and will soon be opening their new offices.
On Friday, May 11th Rob Lyon and staff at the Smith Mountain Eagle invite you to their ribbon cutting at their new location – 1650 Scruggs Road – on Friday, May 11, 2007, from 2 PM until 6 PM. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 2:30 PM. Kimberley Thornton from Member One is the Ambassador for this event. Join the folks around the lake in welcoming Rob and the staff to their new location. Food and refreshments will be served.

I was receiving your newspaper through a weekly subscription and it just stopped coming. I was not notified that my subscription had run out. I would like to still receive the Smith Mountain Eagle at my home address as before – 4735 Belmont Drive
Emmaus, PA 18049. Thanks for checking into this.
